New US President Donald Trump has introduced a venture to invest $500 billion in the booming AI infrastructure. Artificial intelligence is about to showcase its full potential in the US.

"The world's leading tech giants are announcing the formation of StarGate. Put that name down in your books—you’ll hear a lot about it in the future. It’s a new American company that will invest $500 billion at least into AI infrastructure in the United States, very rapidly moving and creating over one hundred thousand American jobs almost immediately," Donald Trump stated.

The President made this announcement in the White House in front of the executives from software developer Oracle, Japanese investment holding SoftBank, and developer of AI programs OpenAI. The US President described them as “an extraordinary group of talent and capital.”

According to Sam Altman, the OpenAI CEO, this project has the potential to achieve “many wonderful things,” including advancements in medicine. “With the development of this technology, we’ll see disease cures at an unprecedented level. This could lead to rapid treatments for cancer and heart disease,” Sam Altman added.
